Ok, we understand what is occurring now. The icon you are using to start Sierra Chart is set to start a Sub-Instance and not the correct main instance. You can not start a Sub-Instance directly, you need to have the main instance running and then have that main instance start the sub-instance by either selecting "File >> New Instance" or through the setting to automatically starting instances.

You need to setup your Main Sierra Chart instance to start properly, from whatever method you prefer to do this through.

If you are not comfortable with setting up desktop icons, then do the following:
- Delete any desktop icons you have for Sierra Chart.
- Use the Operating System tools to go to the main Sierra Chart installation folder (typically this is C:\SierraChart, but could be anywhere on your computer that you put it).
- Find the file named "SierraChart_64" - it is an executable file. Double click to run this file.
- This will launch the main Sierra Chart instance. Once it is up, select "Global Settings >> Create Desktop Shortcut".
- Exit from Sierra Chart.
- Double click on the Sierra Chart icon on your desktop to start the main instance of Sierra Chart. Everything should be fine from here.
