We are very sorry for this most recent outage. We have been actively and aggressively working on replacement circuits and the right configuration to avoid this problem. Our service providers are just very slow, with getting us answers and configuration options and providing order documents.

We did proceed, with an order for a new circuit but we asked to upgrade that to a higher bandwidth from 10 Gb to 40 Gb so that we have sufficient bandwidth in the case of an outage, with our main circuit. But then we are just being delayed, with getting that upgrade order. So we have been actively working on this and aggressively working on this, for the last two months or more. Maybe we should have just accepted the 10 Gb order, but it still would not have been in place and operational by this time.

We were trying to do things right. And ensure, we can provide the very best service. Right from the start.

Anyway the excuses are not going to help. It is a terrible situation for us all and we just apologize for it.



The Crown Castle Fiber NOC has observed alarms in Portage, MI, indicating a higher-level outage. Our field team has been dispatched to investigate and isolate the fault. We will continue to provide updates as they become available.

We also, had made a tentative decision to install servers at the Franklin Park Digital Realty data center, in Illinois to receive and process the data, but we were delayed so much, with all kinds of security related issues that took weeks to get answers on related to internet connectivity. And in the end, we just decided that there were just too many barriers for a configuration like that. So we are just going to use, 2 circuits over to Michigan.

Anyway, the excuses are not going to help, but there have been all kinds of delays from two different service providers we have to we have to work with to solve a problem like this. We had a solution actually that would been in place by now but it was canceled in favor of another solution, servers in Franklin Park which we thought was going to be a superior solution but then that became an unworkable solution after all of the security details, which are imposed for network security from the service provider, were revealed weeks/months later.
