There is not a way to do this. You would need to use the existing tools (Page Up/Page Down/Arrow Up/Arrow Down, Control Bars, Dragging the Time Axis) to get the spacing as you want it (showing the number of bars as you want it) then as long as you do not make any changes using those items, it will stay as it is. You can lock the Vertical Axis using the "Interactive Scale - Locked" option. Refer to the following: Chart Scale and Scale Adjusting: Locking the Scale We have noted this as a "Feature Request".
