The "Do Not Change Symbol Settings for Chart on Symbol Change (Not Recommended)" option of Yes does works for me. I had not attempted that option. Now, when I use Chart>Duplicate Chart, my EURUSD settings remain The Global Settings>Symbol Settings>"Use Custom Symbol Settings Values" can be left unchecked, which works great for futures for me where I don't want to edit all of them by hand. I have tried checking the box and that does work with EURUSD, but it messed up my historical charts for NQ, for example. So, I was thinking it might be nice to offer that checkbox not for ALL symbols but allow each symbol to have it's own data parameters. In any case, this works fine for me and allows me to keep the global settings for futures, customize FXCM tickers as they should be, and even duplicate the chart and keep the settings. Perfect. |
