Post From: New spreadsheet functionality same performance as the old CLR version?

I've been transforming one of my chartbooks, that contains spreadsheet studies from the CLR to the non-CLR version. At first, the performance was very poor. It took very long for the chartbook to load, and working with it was very lagging. Thanks to tomgilb and the new formula expression tree I changed a few formulas that showed errors in the non-CLR version and the performance got a lot better. I still have the feeling, that the performance is yet not the same as in the old CLR version. Maybe you want to have a look at this and check if there are still performance differences and what the reason might be. I've attached the chartbook and spreadsheet file of the non-CLR and the CLR version. I've by purpose left them as they are and have not created a version with just one symbol and a couple of charts. I have been asking for help in the forum, to have most of these spreadsheet studies converted in ACSIL studies. I'm hoping that the performance will be quite a bit better with less spreadsheet studies. Is this assumption true? Thanks for looking into this, tobi Date Time Of Last Edit: 2014-08-16 06:27:11
