There is another carrier maintenance occurring early this morning: Location of Work: Kalamazoo, MI Scheduled Start Date & Time Scheduled End Date & Time Time Zone 12/13/2024 12:00 AM 12/13/2024 6:00 AM Eastern 12/12/2024 11:00 PM 12/13/2024 5:00 AM Central 12/12/2024 10:00 PM 12/13/2024 4:00 AM Mountain 12/12/2024 9:00 PM 12/13/2024 3:00 AM Pacific 12/13/2024 5:00 AM 12/13/2024 11:00 AM GMT Expected Customer Impact: Service Affecting Expected Impact Duration: Up to 6 hours Work Description: A Crown Castle Fiber partner carrier will be conducting a required maintenance at the above-listed location for a mandatory cable relocate. Your circuit(s) will be impacted during this maintenance window as indicated below. We apologize for any resulting inconvenience and assure you of our efforts to minimize any service disruption. Regarding the above maintenance, they say it is going to be completed before 6 AM and we are going to be trusting and relying on that. It is very unlikely there will be an incident again affecting our US equities, cash indices, and CFE service for the rest of the day. We are in the process of adding our backup connection but it is not yet ready. It will not be available until sometime in January. We did a lot of research and consideration and came up with the best solution. This is the first step we are taking and there are additional circuits and servers being added/replaced. And we will have a very reliable redundant set of going forward. However, this one circuit is more than enough to ensure, we do not ever lose connectivity.
