If you have set it up right, then when you open a new chart the "Trade and Current Quote Symbol" will be setup correctly for Interactive Brokers. What is the symbol of the chart you opened and what is the "Chart >> Chart Settings >> Symbol >> Trade and Current Quote Symbol" set to? As we stated previously, this only applies to new charts or when you change the symbol. You will have to update the 100 charts that you already have open individually.
