That would vary on trader and instrument. I would use 2.5 seconds on es. It would be really nice if it has the effect on a cell basis: unlike jigsaw initial implementation with a single timer clearing all cells at once even those that were just visited: in my case a cell recent volume text should never be visible for more than 2.5 seconds, but also never less than 2.5 seconds. Also you could make the text gradually vanish. This would be like trail of intention integrated in text.
