If you are using the actual "Inside Bar" and "Outside Bar" studies, then you would need to also add 4 (possibly 2 depending on what you want) "Color Bar Based on Alert Condition" studies to color based on an Up/Down bar and whether it is an Inside or an Outside bar. To do this, you would hide the "Inside Bar" and "Outside Bar" studies, as you do not want them actually coloring. Then in a Color Bar Based on Alert Condition, you would enter the following Alert Condition for an Inside Bar that is also an Up Bar: =AND(ID1.SG1, C >= O) Where ID1 is the ID of the Inside Bar study, SG1 is the first (and only) subgraph of the Inside Bar study, C is the Close/Last of the bar and O is the Open of the bar. We leave it to you to work out the other 3 conditions. Keep in mind you will want to set a different color for each situation.
