Please clarify?
If using a chart with Symbol NQ and the Trade and Current Quote Symbol (Action) is blank does the Use as Trade Only Symbol need to be set to yes to limit excessive download attempts from outside sources such as Rithmic? If the "Trade and Current Quote Symbol" is blank, then the option for "Use as Trade Only Symbol" has no effect on the data. It does not matter if it is enabled or disabled in this case. And , what if using Symbol NQ and MNQ for the Trade and Current Quote Symbol (Action)?
We are not understanding the question here. Seems like it should always be set to Use as Trade Only Symbol to limit too much data being downloaded & managed?
No matter which brokers are being used? It depends on what you are doing and what you want to see. By having the option for "Use as Trade Only Symbol" disabled, the Market Depth data that is displayed will be for the symbol entered in the "Trade and Current Quote Symbol". Whereas with "Use as Trade Only Symbol" enabled, the Market Depth data will be for the main symbol of the chart. So you need to set the option depending on what data you want to see at the time.
