Dear tomgilb and other spreadsheet pros, I am using the attached spreadsheet study to define swingpoints. In the CLR version this was working fine. But unfortunately in the non-CLR version I often times get an error. I'm pretty sure this has to do with the formulars for SH and SL using lines 1 and 2 of the spreadsheet. I define swing points like this: Swing High = at least 2 lower highs to the left and at least 2 lower highs to the right Swing Low = at least 2 higher lows to the left and at least 2 higher lows to the right If there are equal highs/lows they are treated as merged together and only the last equal high/low are marked as swing high/low (this makes the formular so long, but hopefully you have a better idea; please see the attached screenshots). Do you have a better idea, to easier and/or more efficiently calculate the swing points as defined above, that this is working in the non-CLR version too? Thanks in advance for your help, tobi |
