I tried the following symbol specifying the currency: NG-202411-NYMEX-USD-10000 and it does not work. No real-time data is downloaded. I still get the error: 'The contract description specified for NG is ambiguous. Click your symbol information.' Specifying the currency removes the 'you must specify the currency' part of the error. The chart is blank. If I use symbol: NG-20241029-NYMEX, real-time data is downloaded. I get the message: Symbol settings not found for current service which disappears after a few seconds. I trade Micro Henry Hub Natural Gas MHNG. I can chart that instead of NG. Going forward, I will manually specify the symbol with day number of the month in the symbol. Thanks for your quick response.
