Effective Sunday 13 October 2024 for trade date Monday 14 October 2024, NYMEX will launch Henry Hub Natural Gas Weekly Futures. With the rollout of Henry Hub Natural Gas Weekly Futures, I started getting the following error in SC: 'The contract description specified for NG is ambiguous: you must specify the currency'. Real-time data for Natural Gas Monthly Futures Contracts stopped downloading 2 days ago. I am running Interactive Brokers TWS Version 10.32.1d & SC Version 2671. In order to fix the error above, the Interactive Brokers Chart Symbols / Available Symbols for Natural Gas Monthly Futures Contracts need to be updated in SC to include the year, month and day. So current symbol NG-202411-NYMEX (Nov) needs to be updated to NG-20241029-NYMEX, NG-202412-NYMEX (Dec) needs to updated to NG-20241126-NYMEX etc. If you have any questions or comments, let me know.
