This sounds like your drawing has the two points that define the line drawn on 2 consecutive 1 minute bars. This means that when you copy that drawing to a 2 minute timeframe, the line has its two points defined on a single bar, which is why it will then show as a vertical line. The solution is to ensure that your line is drawn with a longer spacing between the two anchors.
