There is an interesting divergence between the values shown in the DOM vs the Chart when using the Bill Williams Alligator. If you have J L T values shown on the Chart, it displays the end point values for the shifted moving averages. If you put that as a study overlay onto the DOM, it shows the J L T values for the current time and not the shifted end point values. Consequently, you have different numbers. This threw me until I figured out what was going on. Is there a way to have the DOM current values shown on the chart as those are the more relevant for an imminent trade. I realize that a lot of the value in the Alligator is as a trend indicator, but it could be useful to have the DOM / current time values shown on the chart as an option. thanks! |
