First, make sure the setting for "Global Settings >> Chart Trade Settings >> Disable Order Confirmations - Global" is set to "No". Then go to the chart where you are going to enter the order. If the Trade Window is not already attached to that chart, then select "Trade >> Attach Trade Window to Chart". This will attach the trade window to that chart, this way you know for sure that you are changing the settings for that chart. On the trade window, make sure there is a checkmark next to "M >> Confirmation >> Confirm New Order". If there is not, then select that item to have it enabled (have a checkmark next to it). The M button is to the right of the "Cancel All" button. You should get a confirmation when you place an order after this. Meaning you will get a popup asking you if you really want to place this order. There will be information on that confirmation, we need to know what it states in that window for: - Side: - Type: - Open/Close: - Account: Or if you can us an image of that popup, that would be helpful.
