@livetotrade Both data are correct, the difference has to do with 2 things: A, the ratio of (Total Daily Volume)/(Total Daily Transactions), for Futures that ratio is low, i.e. 1.7:1 for ES Mini, for Equities, that ratio is usually hundreds to one. B, the minimum change of value, 0.01 for Equities, the Futures are usually much larger than that, i.e. 0.25 for ES Mini There are 2 possible get-arounds, which haven been discussed in details before 1, first way was mentioned by a user named 'funbun' is to increase 'ticks per volume bar' up to 20+, discussions can be found here. 2, second way is to increase 'Maximum Volume Bar Width Percentage', Engineering team increased that number from 100 to 500, discussions can be found here. The reason you might see "good looking" Volume Profiles on other platforms, is because they are using the 1st approach mentioned above, so the volumes are averaged out over multiple price levels. Keep in mind, those averaged out data are modified data, not what actually happened in the Market, the 'ugly' one in your attachment is the reality, although might not necessarily beneficial to help you make fast trading decisions compared to a modified, more smooth Profile. Hope it would help. Date Time Of Last Edit: 2024-08-22 14:35:38
