I don't know if I'm maxing out on the cores running Sierra Chart Well surely it would be sensible to at least check and confirm either way, before disappearing down the rabbit hole. then I would assume I should ALWAYS be having this issue. Not at all, if you are already running near to the limit then a small increase in CPU demand would be enough to max out the core (and cause the platform to lag), but otherwise everything would seem fine. When you use the crosshair / chart values tool for example, that adds to the load, more so when you use the global cursor. You said in an earlier post that you have a good NVIDIA gpu, have you enabled OpenGL in Sierra Chart? Graphics Settings: Use OpenGL for Chart Graphics (Global Settings >> Graphics Settings >> Other) What is you chart update interval set to (if not set to use global update interval)? What is the drawing time for each chart (Chart Setting -> Performance -> Chart Drawing Time in Milliseconds)? Date Time Of Last Edit: 2024-08-10 07:58:16
