Denali Data Feed at the market open this morning: https://videos.sierrachart.com/USMarketOpen_Denali_2024-08-05.wmv This is running on Windows 7 using the Windows GDI, not OpenGL. This is also on a 6th (old) generation Intel CPU. With about 50 charts open in the current Chartbook and another Chartbook in the background with a large number of charts as well. One note about the above video, is that only, the SPY and MES futures charts are set for a fast update interval. 30 ms. Other charts are not. So only those two time and sales windows, are going to be updating fast. Sierra Chart will always maintain compatibility with Windows 7 unless somehow Microsoft or someone else does something, to make that compatibility impossible. But we will always maintain compatibility with Windows 7. By following the direction of removing dependence on the Windows operating system this makes it assured. One thing we said to a couple weeks ago to one user is the software industry is destroying itself at this time. Most everyone, is going in the direction of destroying their software in various ways. It is a race to the bottom. And we are certain, at some point in time, they are going to wake up and say what the hell were we doing and we were wrong. Whereas Sierra Chart is on the right path. Certainly a lot more to do but we will get there. Newer versions of Windows, in particular windows 8 and 10 and 11, are absolutely completely deranged and lunatic. Completely illegitimate first-class crap garbage software. Nothing more than a heap of trash. Not in a total literal sense, but there are enough problems to warrant overwhelming massive condemnation, and they are certainly going in the absolute wrong deranged woke direction.
