If you are connecting to Rithmic, then this typically occurs because you have symbols that are not correct for Rithmic, somewhere in your charts or quote board or another place where the bad symbol(s) is trying to get data from Rithmic.

Start by opening your Chartbooks and selecting "Edit >> Translate Symbols to Current Service".

If you continue to have the issue after doing the above, then you need to go through all the places where symbols can be entered and make sure the symbols are set properly. Refer to the following instructions, which are for removing symbols, but the core information is still valid for what you need to do, as it gives you the information on where to look:
