Do I need to keep one of my Sierra instances running & connected to my EdgeClear/Teton account in order to keep my Denali non-pro data access? Or is simply setting up the Teton mapping on EdgeClear’s side enough?
You can do it either way you want. You do not need to keep an instance always connected to your Edge Clear account. But if you do not do this, then you will need to connect your Sierra Chart to that account at least once a month for verification. So, once I have setup an instance for EdgeClear/Teton and confirmed the data connection is working real-time, can I shutdown that instance and then start 3 Sierra instances all sharing the Denali data?
Yes, you can do this. As noted above, you will have to make sure you do connect to that Edge Clear account at least once a month for verification. Also, is it possible to increase this limit of 3 active shared Denali connections on the same machine
This is not possible, the maximum is 3 instances on a single computer all receiving data at the same time. This is a limit set by the exchanges. You can get data to more instances by using a second computer. In this case you would need to pay for a second set of exchange fees, but you can then get data to an additional 3 instances on that other computer. Refer to the following: Denali Exchange Data Feed: Connections For the most reliable, advanced, and zero cost futures order routing, use the Teton service: Sierra Chart Teton Futures Order Routing |
