If so, is there any, even sligthest, performance issue compared to a x64 cpu?
The Snapdragon ARM systems are pretty new. AFAIK there have not been any reports of Sierra Chart performance comparisons. Windows on ARM is also pretty new, and not a lot of apps have been ported over. However, for users who only want to run Sierra Chart, it may be a good option. Being new, the hardware prices are high, and it is the early adopters playing with them. As competing products enter the market, the prices should come down. Running Windows on ARM in a VM will always have a small performance hit compared to native. YMMV. |
