Hello Sierra chart team, I have a question about one of the settings for the number bar. I have found the documentation regarding this here that explains it: Numbers Bars: Background Coloring Based on Separate Diagonal AskVol BidVol Percentage However I cannot understand it. I have attached a picture of my chart and would appreciate it if you can assist me. As I understand for the "background based on separate diagonal askbidvol percent, we take the ratios of bid and next ask, and the current ask and previous bid. whichever is larger comparatively - whether ask or bid- will determine the color of the number bar. However, in my chart I am not getting the results I should. I have two questions: 1. when there is no previous bar within the same column, do we look at the values of the last column? Is next price the price moving up or down? 2. Why dont I get the same results as my chart in terms of the coloring (in my chart purple is down (Ask<Bid) and blue(Ask>Bid) ) is up. For instance for this example: 09 x 21 93 x 11 67 x 61 we should have 93/61 11/9 => 1.52 > 1.22 so the bid is bigger so it should be down but in my chart it says up.. I cant understand why and my colors are correct. Please let me know. I have been thinking alot about this before asking here. Thank you very much Date Time Of Last Edit: 2024-06-18 19:30:42
