We can not say how this occurred. You need to look at your Trade Activity Log and see what it states in terms of when those orders were sent and why they were sent. The information is in the log, you just need to find it. Refer to the following: Trade Activity Log Analysis: Determining the Origin of a New/Modified Order The most likely situation is that when you selected Flatten, a set of orders is sent to close out the positions. This would create those orders in Interactive Brokers if there was not an actual offsetting position already open.
