Is it possible to calculate the POC and Value Area using the last N bars (N being a fixed number that's user specified), and plot an updated value at each bar on the chart? For example, at bar 4, POC and Value area is plotted using volume from bar 2 to bar 4. And at bar 5, POC and Value area is plotted using volume from bar 3 to bar 5. This approach differs from the usual developing POC and Value Area, which calculation is based on a varying number of bars. For example, at the start of each new profile only one bar would be used to calculate the developing POC and value area, whereas I need them to be calculated using a fixed number of the most recent bars. |
