We are not sure what you are referring to in terms of a "matching algo". Are you doing a Search on the Find Symbol window? If you are having an issue when trying to open a symbol in the Find Symbol window, then it sounds like you are not typing the information in the proper location. Make sure you enter the symbol in the field for "Selected Symbol". Whatever you type in to that field is what is used to open a chart.
