First thing - do not reinstall Sierra Chart. There is never a reason to do this. If this is a Continuous Futures Contract, then it can take awhile for the data to download, and it depends on how much data you are trying to get. If you are still having an problem then close the chartbook and select "Global Settings >> Data/Trade Service Settings >> Common Settings" and in the section for "Maximum Historical Intraday Days to Download" make sure the settings for "Non-Tick Data" and "1-Tick Data" are set to reasonable values. By default these should be set to 186. Refer to the following: Data/Trade Service Settings: Maximum Historical Intraday Days to Download (Global Settings >> Data/Trade Service Settings >> Common Settings) Then open a new chart for the symbol without changing any other settings and see if you get the data in a few minutes. If so, then everything sounds like it is fine, and we have to believe that the other chart is trying to download a lot of data and you just need to give it time. For the most reliable, advanced, and zero cost futures order routing, use the Teton service: Sierra Chart Teton Futures Order Routing |
