My apologies for continuing to comment. I'd like to acknowledge the response and the logic at hand while it may be common on other platforms I understand the rationale of this behavior here. I think Extend Right would be a solution going forward. If there was a forum page that described this already, again my mistake for not coming across it prior to writing in. Second, with the Troubleshooting for Automated Trading resource. There are some suggestions indeed but it looks like the page is largely a disclaimer which also makes sense because SC has no idea what is running on a chart, what are its settings, studies, alerts, etc. The simple scenario I described above appears to have no solution and after clarifying it, it appears that there is no answer or support for it. A shame because it should be a very simple problem to solve. In fact it should be a non-issue for using SSFT study as a solution to execute the automation of a signal, on bar close, when the signal is finally evaluated. |
