If the "Black Box" you are referring to is the Tool Values window, then it will show the angle that you are drawing between the first point and the second point. If this is set to 45 degrees, then the Gann Fan line with a slope of 1.00 will go directly from the first point through the second point. It really does not matter what your second point is. The Gann Fan line with a Slope of 1.00 will always be the 45 degree angle as defined by the rise in price in ticks divided by the run of the number of bars. As stated in the documentation we pointed you to, this will not necessarily look like a 45 degree angle on the chart itself, and most likely will not.
