To make my life "easier", I go to original chart and press "Set Defaults" so that study settings are the same when I add the SSforTrading to Chart2.
That probably complicates things. If you duplicate the original chart, it will assign the next available Chart#, and add a Sheet# of the same number. All settings will follow.SO WHY IN THE WORLD IS THE NEW CHART POPULATING SHEET 1?!
By default, the Sheet# matches the Chart#, regardless of the Formula Source Sheet Number setting. In Chart2, I create a new SSForTrading study.
If you want a differently named spreadsheet file on Chart2, with the same settings as the original, do this:1) Duplicate the original chart (that has the spreadsheet study.) 2) Focus the spreadsheet, go to File >> Save As, and give it a new name. -You'll get a dialog box asking if you want to save to the new name. Click Yes. 3) Focus the chart, go to the spreadsheet study settings, enter the new name in the Spreadsheet Name field, or select it by pressing the Select button. Press OK and OK. |
