Post From: Spreadsheets Are Often Maddening

I'm trying to refine an existing spreadsheet for trading for use with a new, cleaner chart.

To make my life "easier", I go to original chart and press "Set Defaults" so that study settings are the same when I add the SSforTrading to Chart2.

I make a copy of the original spreadsheet in the file system because I've gone down this rat hole before and I don't want to spend hours rebuilding from scratch.

In Chart2, I create a new SSForTrading study.

I reference the new copy of the spreadsheet from chart 1.

IN THE STUDY SETTINGS, FORMULA SOURCE SHEET NUMBER IS 9, SHEET NAME IS SHEET9. Just as it should, since that was the default I just set.

SO WHY IN THE WORLD IS THE NEW CHART POPULATING SHEET 1?!

Maddening.
