Using the 'color bar on alert' study, I am using the same formula that colors my delta bars (blue/red) to draw extension lines on the main chart. However, these don't appear to be plotting correctly in real-time. There are 3 extension line examples in the attached image. 1) The first red extension line (price - $18255) plots as expected, but on the next candle's wick, it stopped drawing. It wasn't until the retest ~10:00 that it started to redraw this extension line. 2) This blue extension line (price - $18265) should have stopped plotting after the crossover, however it is still plotting. 3) Similar to example 1, this line (price - $18210) stopped drawing after the wick crossed it on the next candle, it wasn't until the retest at 10:57 that it started to draw it again.
