Afternoon fellow traders, and SC support. As the tittle says, I am wondering if the update rate of the control bar is tweakable. The reason I ask is because I created a trade control bar with quantity buttons, UAO and lock/unlock trading. I have noticed a significant delay with the control bar compared to the trade window. For instance, I have a hot key to change my quantity from 2 to 5, the trade window updates immediately and the control bar takes almost a second to indicate the change to 5.
Yes it could take up to about a second. We do not want to make this adjustable. Inevitably users are going to change that setting and cause various issues. And that creates more of a burden upon us. Also, is there a text study or a way to create a large text prompt on the screen to indicate when trading is locked. I know their is a visual reference in the upper corner (small), it would be nice to have it in large font, with an adjustable location and custom colors to make it immediately clear when trading is locked.
You can create a custom study to do this. There is an ACSIL variable indicating if trading is locked and you can use the Symbol Display study for an example.
