If you want to do different data management with a different category of symbols like stocks, it is logical to keep them in a separate installation. That is a different exchange. And also regarding connection limits, those limits are controlled independently for different exchanges or exchange groups. You could have 3 CME Group connections on the same computer and 3 real-time US equities data connections on the same computer. So you can have a total of 6 instances. And also you can use sub instances and accomplish the same thing as well and use a single connection to the server. With sub instances you can have an unlimited number of them.
