With regards to the underlying data, it does not matter what chart you copy from. But, there can be differences in how the charts are setup that could affect what you get. For instance, since you state that you are getting a "Downloading Continuous Contract Data", it's possible that the chart you copied from was setup as a Continuous Contract chart, but the other one is not. In this particular case, you would have to wait for the data to download. Depending on how many days you have set to load, it could take awhile.
