You state of Simulation Mode applies to an instance of Sierra Chart. So if you are wanting to trade live on one chart and in Simulation Mode on another, then you need to have separate instances of Sierra Chart to do this.

You can use the "File >> New Instance" option for this, just be sure that the Main Instance is the one you are using for live trading and the sub-instance is the one for simulation mode. This is necessary as when a sub-instance is not in simulation mode, it is trying to send orders to the service being used in the Main Instance. So if the Main Instance is in Simulation Mode, then the sub-instance is sending orders to Simulation in the Main Instance.
