That function does allow you to specify any email address. The new functionality only allows an alert message, or messages sent from that function, into a chat group, which would be associated with the Sierra Chart user, or any other user the Sierra Chart user decides to add. In any case you cannot expect us to be supporting sending an email to any email address. It was intended only to be used by a user to send to their own email addresses. That function was added with hesitancy. Anyway what we are trying to get at, we reserve the right, to completely terminate that functionality altogether immediately without notice, and that should be expected. Since that function was a very generous, and unrestricted function, which should really have never been added to begin with. Whether we said anything about this or not! It is a situation of abuse, that email rights were terminated by an outside provider. Whether that was a correct determination of the abuse or not, this is how it was interpreted. Email is simply inherently unreliable. The new method of transmitting messages is extremely reliable, and unfiltered. There may be reliability problems with Telegram but not through our own systems.
