There are a number of ways that you could get something to mark this kind situation. The "Color Bar Based on Alert Condition" is one of them. In this case, by default, the bar will be colored where this occurs.

The alert condition you would need would look like the following:
=O <> C[-1]

So any time the Open of the bar is not equal to the close of the previous bar it will highlight that bar.

If you want one color for an up gap and another for a down gap, then you would need two copies of the "Color Bar Based on Alert Condition", where one is set to one color with an alert like the following:
=O > C[-1]

And the other is set to another color with an alert like the following:
=O < C[-1]
