Hi, Is there any available study or function as part of another study which would allow for identification of bars with tick gaps? A tick gap being a gap in price between the close of the prior bar and open of the next (ex. prior bar closes at 100 and current bar opens at 100.25 or higher). Attached is an image from tradingview of an indicator (fair value and tick gaps) I have showing this functionality with the label 'TG' above or below the bar to indicate the direction and bars colored for tick gaps of more than 1 tick. I was hoping to replicate the tick gap functionality and have a label/marker under or above a footprint bar when this occurs (and confirmed based on bar close) and possibly the value of the gap. As I did not see anything like this, I was thinking possibly a color bar based on alert condition could work? Any help/ideas appreciated. Thanks |
