I say that "Nasdaq TotalView stock data would not be what you want" because it will only show you what is happening at the Nasdaq Venue, maybe 33% of the Trading Volume. You need the "US Equities Consolidated Tape" because that aggregates the volume data from the 19 stock trading venues in real-time and that is the information that is required for the "Number Bars" feature.
