If the above isn't possible, can I assume the only option is to find a broker who offers data AND brokerage for my chosen markets and supports SC platform?
This is the only option. It is possible to get data from another party, such as DTN IQ Feed, but in doing this, you have to set your Current Selected Service to that source. Therefore, you can not get data from another party and be connected to a different trading service.
