The first thing you need to do is to open the Chartbooks for which you are having an issue, and then select "Edit >> Translate Symbols to Current Service". This will update the symbols in the chartbook to the symbols you need for the service you are connected to. Keep in mind, all services use a different symbology.

That should take care of your main issue. But, you are not setup to get any real-time data from our Denali Exchange Data Feed. But we do give free real-time for FOREX, CFDs, Crypto Currencies, and Market Statistics. So if you only need real-time data for those, or if the delayed streaming data is good enough for you, then you do not need a brokerage account.

You would only need a brokerage account if you are wanting data from the CME Group. In this case, an account with a Prop Firm will not work, as it needs to be a personal, live, funded, futures trading account. You also need to be able to connect to that account at least once a month to verify your non-professional standing for the CME Group by connecting your Sierra Chart software to this account. We do not have support for TD Ameritrade, this will not work. For more information on this requirement, refer to the following:
