Apparently, somewhere around (or after) version 2547 there was a major Architectual change in SC code which caused the exception in the private studies compiled under the prior versions. This should not have been the case but there is always a possibility of an incompatibility that we were not aware of. Or perhaps there was an incompatibility that was then later corrected and depending upon what version the build was done with, updating to a later version creates the issue again. A rebuild of the custom studies resolves this.
