We just tried this particular custom symbol and it is working fine for us. Make sure you have followed all the instructions at the following link: Custom Calculated Symbols: Instructions In particular, step #10 that has you set "Uses Formula Operators" to "Yes". -- One thing we do want to point out in your formula is that you have XLK being multiplied twice.
