Charts get their data from files on the system. But the data is not stored in the Chartbooks, it is just a reference to the required data. Therefore, removing a Chartbook has no effect on the data that is on your drive. You can certainly remove all data prior to December 2023. Refer to the following: Chart Data and Chart Data Files: Deleting a Chart Data File Note that in the above documentation, step 1 is just to let you find what symbols you are currently using. You do not need to do this if you just want to remove all old data. And if you are getting the data from us for the symbols you are tracking, then even if you remove data that a chart needs, it will be redownloaded.
