New update on Incident INC0025932: Equinix IBX Site Staff reports that 4 out of 6 chillers have been restored. IBX Critical Facility Engineers along with onsite mechanical vendors are working to restore the 5th Chiller. The site is still recovering and the average site temperatures remain stable at 91° F, although temperatures may vary at different locations across the site. Fourteen portable coolers are online and one is being installed. For customers who powered down equipment, we strongly recommend waiting to restore operations until the average site temperatures reach around 80 °F. This is likely to be a process that takes 2 to 3 months to fully complete but it will be done and we will be gone from that data center from hell.
