New update on Incident INC0025932: Equinix IBX Site Staff reports that the vendor and IBX Critical Facilities Engineers continue troubleshooting this issue. As efforts to resolve the chiller issue continue, and a timeframe for resolution is not yet available, Equinix Site Staff highly recommends that customers consider powering down non-essential loads within the data center, or transfer those operations to backup sites, to assist with efforts at lowering the temperature within the facility. All of our equipment in CH1 is powered down, and we are using backup sites. Users please understand, there will be degraded service, this evening. What you will observe, Is longer connectivity time to the Denali servers. Perhaps a minute versus about two seconds. And there is no connectivity at this time for stock data. Only futures. We do have in the works backup connectivity for stocks planned. But this is more involved and as yet not implemented.
