New update on Incident INC0025932: Equinix IBX Site Staff reports that the temperatures continue to rise as the vendor continues troubleshooting the chiller plant failures. Every effort is being made to resolve this issue, including the vendor of the chiller equipment and Equinix’s most senior engineers, however, we do not yet have line of sight on the resolution timeframe. The severe weather in the Chicago area, which was a contributing factor in the initial failure, continues to hamper efforts at resolution. IBX Critical Facility Engineers continue to supply outside air to decrease the collocation area´s temperature.
