You can only have 1 connected account to an installation of Sierra Chart. So once you change that Service in the Data/Trade Service Settings, you will no longer be connected to Interactive Brokers in that installation. We doubt you have more than one installation, but we are being pedantic for others that may read this to help them.

If you do not want to wait for Optimus Futures to get your account setup, you can change the "Current Selected Service" to "SC Data - All Services" now. This will disconnect you from your Interactive Brokers account. You will not be connected to any trading account at that time, but you can use the system in Simulation Mode.

Just be sure to select "Yes" to the option to update your symbols when changing services, as every service uses a different symbology - including our SC Data - All Services.
