This is not going to work as you are thinking. In the Study/Price Overlay is an Input for "Data Copy Mode" This defines whether the system "Use Earliest Value from Corresponding Time Frame in Source Chart" or "Use Latest Value from Corresponding Time Frame in Source Chart". As such, the way this is set will determine whether the earliest 1 minute bar will be applied to the 3 minute chart or the latest 1 minute bar will be applied to the 3 minute chart. For example, if you select "use Earliest Value from Corresponding Time Frame in Source Chart" then when looking at the 3 minute chart at a time of 09:03:00, the 1 minute bar that was overlaid is the bar that started at 09:03:00. Whereas if you used the Latest bar, it would be the 09:05:00 bar from the 1 minute chart, as this is the latest bar that is contained within the 09:03:00 bar as it spans to 09:05:59. If the particular bar that is being overlaid has a true value for the Color Bar, then the coloring will be visible in the destination chart. Otherwise, you will not see any coloring.
